If you are building your own systems you can also offer your customers a Microsoft Office Ready PC by installing the Office 2007 image using an Office OPK.

The Office Ready programme means that if customers decide not to have the full 2007 Office system at time of purchase, you now have a second opportunity to sell Office, by asking them within the 60-day trial period if they want to convert to the full version. The 60-day trial is available only for the Business SKU which includes Basic, Small Business, and Professional images. The consumer images; Home & Student and Ultimate, do not convert to trial mode.

The OPK is Media Only meaning that a MLK must be purchased separately before you can use the software.

OPK Master Kits: (PLEASE NOTE! OPK Kits are limited to 3 per reseller and should not be passed to the end user!!)

OPK Master Kits include the master software images to preinstall on the systems you build, and are essential for you to be able to sell 2007 Microsoft Office Medialess License Kits. Each kit includes the Microsoft Office master image for Office Ready PCs and a master image for Office Home and Student 2007, plus a Tools CD and a Getting Started instructional flyer.

Media Licence Kits:

MLKs do not contain any media. If your customer would like back-up media they can order this from
