Gigabit & Fiber Connectivity The GS716T and GS724T switches are standards based for easy integration of Ethernet (10 Mbps), Fast Ethernet (10/100 Mbps) and Gigabit (10/100/1000 Mpbs) devices. These unmanaged, rackmountable network switches feature 16 or 24 Gigabit Ethernet ports, each capable of powering 2000 Mbps of data throughput in full duplex mode. The GS716T and GS724T also feature two hot-swappable Small Form-factor Pluggable (SFP) GBIC Slots for optional SFP Modules to provide private bandwidth for PCs, servers, hubs, or a secure, long-distance uplink connection. All 16 or 24 ports provide automatic speed and duplex sensing, plus Auto Uplink™ technology to adjust for straight-through or crossover cables and make the right connection.
