Business Development Executive (Lead Generation)


Do you have excellent telephone sales skills and motivated to deliver high volume leads for our sales team?  We are seeking a Lead Generation Executive to help develop our software business in the UK.

The Lead Generation person will focus on customer acquisition B2B. This position involves both cold and warm calling of potential customers (Resellers and service providers).

An experienced communicator on all levels, you will generate new business leads/opportunities, follow up on marketing campaigns, generate enquiries through social media and cross-sell to existing customers. You’ll also need to ensure the data in our Salesforce CRM system is up to date and accurate. 

You should be a confident, intelligent and dynamic sales person, hunting out prospects like a terrier, hitting the phones like a pro and building relationships like a best friend.

Blue Solutions is a value-add software distributor based in Wokingham Berkshire, specialising in cyber-security and service providers. This is a great opportunity for someone with some previous sales experience to join a friendly team. We would consider full or part-time applications for this role based on experience and situation

Responsibilities:

  • Targeted lead generation.
  • New business development.
  • Contact prospects and customers to generate and qualify leads.
  • Upselling new products into existing accounts.
  • Arrange one-to-one sales presentations and software demonstrations.
  • Building pipelines with channel partners.
  • Working with the Sales Manager on developing new sales campaigns.
  • Generating a high volume of outbound calls on a daily basis.
  • Working towards daily KPI’s.

Required skills and experience:

  • Must have at least one year’s previous experience in a business to business sales or telesales position.
  • A good understanding of modern technology with the ability to quickly expand knowledge within the IT security market.
  • Excellent communication skills.
  • Effective people and negotiating skills.
  • Experience of using a CRM system
  • To succeed in this role, you need to be self-motivated, driven and overall hungry to succeed. This is a sales role in a telephone based sales environment; you can’t be afraid of picking up the phone.
  • Fluent spoken and written English
  • A driven and ambitious individual with a strong desire to succeed.

Business Development Executive’s would be expected to dial at least 60 calls every day, but the rewards are great! You could earn the equivalent of £1000 commission each month, paid on a quarterly basis; if you hit your targets.
