Business Development - MSP

Blue Solutions is looking for a driven, hungry experienced sales professional to grow the managed services revenue. As a new business salesperson you will be responsible for hunting for new opportunities with the channel. You will be familiar with cyber-security vendors and solutions and comfortable selling recurring revenue services to MSP/MSSPs. You will find new opportunities, arrange demos and trials and be responsible for the onboarding process of new MSP partners.

You will be targeted on MSP partner acquisition and profit along with KPIs for activity.

This is an office based role in Wokingham, Berkshire (UK)


  • Reach and exceed quarterly sales targets
  • Reach and exceed quarterly KPIs
  • Create a strategy for your role and create a business plan for how to achieve it

  • Engage with MSP Partners to promote Blue Solutions
  • Create strong business relationships with prospects and customers
  • Build and maintain sales pipeline
  • Manage leads in a timely manner
  • Identify and execute on upsell opportunities
  • Update and maintain Salesforce CRM 
  • Keep knowledge up to date of the cyber-security market
  • Work the vendors on opportunities
  • Attend customer meetings where required

Skills Required:

Must have the following skills:

  • Business to Business (B2B)

  • Able to proactively hunt for new business opportunities
  • Lead generation
  • Cyber-Security sales experience and vocabulary
  • Proven track record of achieving sales target
  • Self-starter
  • Fluent in verbal and written English
  • Full UK driving licence

 These skills are desirable:

  • Knowledge of Managed Service Providers (MSP/MSSP)
  • IT Channel Sales ie selling to and through partners
  • Recurring revenue sales (MRR)
  • Salesforce CRM for pipeline
  • Field sales for customer meetings
  • Creating and presenting sales presentations or webinars
